Runes of Magic is based on an asian MMORPG and has been modified to meet Frogster's requirements. The biggest differnce compared to previous MMORPGs, despite beeing quite similar to them, is the new dual class system. Your character in ROM may belong to two classes at the same time.

In the beginning you get to choose one of six classes in Runes of Magic before the gameplay immediatly starts. When RoM progresses you later have the abbility to choose a second class by absolving missions. Besides the well-known elements of MMORPG gameplay Runes of Magic provides you with housing for your player and your guild right from the beginning.

New Addons for adding new territories, levels and assignments are planned to be released at regular intervals.
