Dharok's helm
Dharok's helm

Dharok's helm is melee armour worn in the headwear slot that is part of Dharok the Wretched's set of barrows equipment. To wear Dharok's helmet, a player must have 70 Defence. It is currently the 2nd most expensive single reward from the barrows minigame.

As this helmet leaves the majority of the wearer's face unprotected, and has the same negative range and mage bonuses as med helms, it is classified as a med helm. Therefore, it is considered to be the strongest of such armour. Dharok's helmet is currently the 2nd most expensive Barrows item in the game and is considered to be the second best Barrows Reward.

The helm is more expensive than the rest of Dharok the Wretched's set of barrows equipment. The disproportionately high value of the helmet can be explained with the High Alchemy value of the helmet. In comparison to the other items in the set the item has the lowest value and hence when a player dies they lose this item and keep the other pieces. This creates a significantly higher demand and hence the high price. This is also even more the case than other Barrows helmets often lost on death, because players who use Dharok's often die more often than players who use other Barrows sets. This is due to the fact they often try and stay at low life points to use Dharok' special effect, thus increasing the chances of death. Also, due to the fact it is in high demand, it is often targeted by merchanting clans or simply players hoping that it will go up in price to sell it later.

As it is part of Dharok's Barrows set, if Dharok's helmet is worn along with all of the other pieces of equipment in Dharok's barrows set the player receives a special attack. Attacks do more damage as the player's life points decrease, up to double damage at or below 10% life points. As with all Barrows equipment, this item cannot be made using the Smithing skill.

This can be fixed at Bob's Axes in Lumbridge, Dunstan in Burthope, Tindel in Port Khazard or the Void Knight nearest the Anvil at the Void Knight Outpost for 60,000 coins.

Players can build an armour stand at level 55 construction which allows them to repair Barrows armour at a reduced price based on their smithing level. At level 100 (with the help of a skill cape or Dwarven Stout) it is a 50% reduction.
