The Saradomin bow was released on 4 August 2010 as part of the Elite Treasure Trails update. Along with the Zamorak bow and Guthix bow, it requires 55 range to use.

Wielding it gives a Ranged bonus of +80, almost as high as that of the Rune crossbow. The God bows also give a slight Prayer bonus of +4; this is unique as no other bow offers a Prayer bonus (Zanik's crossbow has a Prayer penalty of -5).

The only way to obtain this item is to trade with other players, buy from the G.E., or get it as a reward from Elite (Level 4) Treasure Trails.

This bow has a special attack, called "Restorative Shot", which deals the normal amount of damage and heals for 2x the amount of damage dealt over a period of time, taking 55% of the special attack bar. The special attack of the Saradomin bow is similar to the Saradomin Godsword's special attack.

This special attack heals 10% of the total health it's supposed to heal every 4 seconds, resulting in the full heal taking 40 seconds. For example, If you were to hit 200, you would be healed 40 life points every 4 seconds.
