The Zamorak bow was released on 4 August 2010 as part of the elite Treasure Trails update. Along with the Saradomin bow and Guthix bow, it requires a Ranged level of 55 to wield.

Wielding it gives a Ranged bonus of +80, almost reaching the Rune crossbow's bonus. The God bows also give a small Prayer bonus of +4; this is unique as no other bow offers a positive Prayer bonus (Zanik's crossbow has a -5 Prayer bonus).

The only way to obtain this item is to trade with other players, or to get it as a reward from Elite (Level 4) Treasure Trails.

This bow has a special attack called "Twin Shot" which doubles the amount of damage for one shot (1 arrow), and drains 55% of the special attack bar. This is similar to the special attack of the Magic shortbow, which shoots two arrows in rapid succession and also drains 55% of the special attack bar. It has been confirmed to be possible to use two special attacks in a row, without the aid of a special restore potion, or a Ring of Vigour, which is obtained through the Dungeoneering skill, or a leech special curse.

Using a ring of vigour, special restore potion, and leech special curse, it is possible to use the special attack up to 4 times.
