The Armadyl godsword is one of the four Godswords. Like all godswords, it requires level 75 Attack to wield. It has a special attack called The Judgment which inflicts 25% more damage with a 50% Special bar drain, making the Armadyl godsword the most sought-after godsword. The Armadyl godsword, along with the other godswords, were considered to be the strongest weapons in the game before the release of the chaotic maul (the Chaotic maul lacks a special attack). The Armadyl Godsword's main competition comes from the Dragon Claws which have a similar hard-hitting special attack. The Armadyl Godsword is created by Smithing together the three Godsword shards (requires 80 or higher Smithing) and using an Armadyl hilt on the blade (has no requirements to do), creating the wieldable Armadyl godsword. 

The Armadyl godsword is used most commonly in PvP Activities, the Wilderness, and for killing boss monsters such as General Graardor due to its high hitting special attack. Using all the best Strength boosting potions, and having 99 Strength, a player can hit up to 1000+ with its special attack against monsters, although a player can hit up to 1169 while under perfect conditions. For instance, while wearing the Castlewar bracelet, using the sword's special attack, and Profound armour. (their opponent must be using Saradomin brews, Titan's Constitution scrolls, any armour dropped by Nex, or Rocktails to increase their LP above its maximum). Arguably, it is a good knock-out weapon along with Dragon Claws, as the Dragon Claws special attack has a higher theoretical maximum hit than the Armadyl Godsword.
